This is a very easy way to reach out to people you know and asking them to support you in raising funds for SSF.

At the core, it is special web page for you where you can add your photo and tell people why you are raising money for SSF.

You do not have to ask in-person for the donation, you can just send email or use IM or use any other means to suggest a very small donation amount. You can even reach out to out of state friends. It is that simple.

Small Steps Foundation is using http://www.firstgiving.org to create Personal Donation Page for each of the participants. Using this personal donation page, the participants can reach out to their friends and family and raise money to reach their pledge goal.
